MINNESota Sports and events:
Ten Days. No Second Takes.
Running a daily content operation for The World Junior Championship
THE PROBLEM: The World Junior Championships is one of the biggest events in international hockey. It runs for ten straight days, and it doesn't wait for anybody's edit queue. MNSE needed content that could keep pace with a live tournament: announced before it started, published while it was happening, and finished in time to still matter.
THE OPPORTUNITY: A tournament needs something different: a daily operation that can concept, cut, and ship the same day, every day, without the quality sliding as the week wears on. We'd already written and edited the spot that ran in front of an international broadcast audience. The tournament was the chance to prove we could hold that bar at speed.
THE SOLUTION: We built the content engine for the tournament in three parts. A :30 commercial to announce it. A statewide partner film to launch it. And a 30-part daily series with Fox 9 host Todd Walker to cover it, cut and delivered same-day, for the full run of the event.
30+ VIDEOS. 10 DAYS. SAME-DAY DELIVERY.
THE ANNOUNCEMENT SPOT
A :30 commercial, scripted and edited by us, that ran at the 2025 World Junior Championship games in Canada. Minnesota's introduction to an international audience, made before a single puck dropped here.
PASS THE PUCK - 350,000+ organic views
A two-minute film announcing every partner behind the tournament, built as a puck passed across the state of Minnesota. No shoot, just a folder of UGC from Minnesotans around the state. We concepted a through-line that turned a partner list into something people would actually watch.
Daily Coverage with Todd Walker
A 30-part series with Fox 9's Todd Walker, on the ground for the full run of the tournament. Todd walked the venue and the city covering everything happening around the event, and we cut and delivered every episode the same day it was shot. Ten consecutive days of same-day turnaround during live competition.
We also cut player interview recaps for local news networks throughout the week, on the same schedule.
170,000+ organic views across the series.
Also in the room
Before the tournament, we scripted and produced the Champions Council film introducing what MNSE does and who makes it possible. We also produced a celebration film for the women's gymnastics trials.
